As Managing Broker, Shayne oversees the daily Broker and contract related issues with a particular emphasis on educating Real Estate Professionals in expert contract writing and negotiating and in keeping compliant with the Georgia Real Estate Commission, along with FMLS and GAMLS rules and regulations. In addition, Shayne is the guiding force in implementing innovative prospecting tools and training tools that are vital to Realty associate success – as well as developing strategic partnerships with affiliate companies in an effort to provide incredible service for our clients.
Shayne opened Trend Atlanta Realty in 1998 as an independent real estate company challenging traditional real estate practices by offering a new dimension of marketing tools to Realty associates of Trend as well as delegating the negotiation of listing commissions directly to her agents. Shayne was originally licensed to sell real estate in the early 1980’s and received her broker’s license in the early 1990’s to form Trend Atlanta Realty.
Previous to her real estate career, Shayne’s varied background included computer science education in college, ten years in the insurance industry including managing data and word processing departments, office management for top level insurance executives, and sales and administration of pension plans for large corporations.
Originally from Indiana, Shayne transferred to the Atlanta area with Lincoln National Life Insurance Company in 1979 and continued her education at Oglethorpe University prior to pursuing her real estate license. Once in the real estate industry, she knew this was her career home.
