Whether sporting high heels or steel toes, I have filled many shoes. My varied life experiences have led me to find my true passion – real estate. From a young age, my grandfather, a licensed Real Estate Agent, taught me the value of investing in property and modeled how to forge my own path in life. I am proud to follow in his footsteps. I have always been creative. I have been drawing and painting all my life, which contributed to me earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Georgia, specializing in design. I worked for one of Atlanta's top advertising firms and later at an award-winning firm specializing in real estate marketing. After having my two sons, I turned my talents to the home and landscape industry. I have been able to work alongside some of the best contractors in the industry and gained valuable knowledge along the way. I have never been afraid to roll up my sleeves and get dirty, from installing plants and water features to framing walls and laying tile. By being hands-on, I have earned several awards for design, including Best in Show. I have also been featured in Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine and even had my TV debut on Bushwacked, a surprise makeover show on Turner South. I also love using my skills to brighten the community where I live and work. For several years I have been a volunteer alongside Clark Howard with his work with Habitat for Humanity. I designed and a created a Children's Garden, which has been nationally recognized and featured on several TV shows, such as Growing a Greener World. Also, I was able to work with some caring hearts to give a dream makeover to a widow and her two young daughters, who lost their husband/father too soon to cancer. When you combine my life skills, my artistic talents and my ability to think outside the box with my knowledge and experience in the real estate industry, you will find that I am able to help you build your dream. When it comes to home buying, there is nothing like the thrill of the hunt! I am diligent about searching for just the right home for my clients. I take the time to prioritize their needs and wishes. My first-hand experience allows me to see through the superficial, to see the potential, while spotting possible concerns. From pre-qualification, to inspections, to the closing, I am here every step of the way, providing the necessary resources and helping my clients connect with the right professionals throughout the process.
